So why would Good Man Stuff have a post about a silicone ring? Two words, amputated fingers! Yep, this happens far more often than you might think and your wedding ring getting caught in a power tool is the issue. If you have never seen what it looks like for a wedding ring to get caught and pull off a finger, lets just say, do not google it. That is were the silicone ring comes in and takes care of that problem. For years I wore a titanium wedding band. It was not very expensive and looked stylish. The problem came in how strong titanium is. It is far stronger than your finger. Luckily for me I never did get my finger cut off in an accident, but I did come close several times and it scared the crap out of me! A silicone ring is not only cost effective, but will also break if it were to get caught on some form of equipment when you are working. It can also be cut off much easier than a metal ring. We really like the QALO silicone rings for their style variety and price. If you are the type of man that works with you hands daily or just on the weekends, we recommend hanging up your metal ring and trading it for silicone. If your sentimental just build a shadow box or something for your old ring. Your fingers will thank you!
