The Industrial Pro is designed to take out large amounts of wood from your project. Mainly used in the beginning to chip your wood down to a manageable size for carving more intricate designs. If you need to rough out a chair seat or take out large portions of an artistic project this is the disk you need. Made from hardened steel and tungsten carbide, this disk will last you a long time and you will make many projects with it.
Like the Industrial Pro, the Turbo Plane takes off a significant amount of wood, but can also give a smoother finish. Great for freehand carving for a more organic finish, think Sam Maloof. This wheel is specifically designed to be laid flat and does not have a cutting surface on the outer ring. This also makes the Turbo Plane a bit safer to use.
The Turbo Shaft offers a very unique design for a wood carving tool. The Turb Shaft is a smaller cutting device that can go straight down to make deep, yet smaller holes. This tool is also great for freehand carving and getting into more detail. It can also be used to cut out lettering for signs and can even be attached to a jig to make perfect circles.
And last but not least, the Ball gauge Grinder. Made to carve wood smooth an get into tight spots, the ball gauge grinder can be use for finishing passes and well as freehand work. Great for carving spoons and small bowls, this grinder will make quick work of wood removal. This grinder has great control making it the right tool for the job.

After comparing the two boards, the Spadger Electric Skateboard may have an upper hand in this. The differences between the two amazing electric skateboard manufacturers are the speed, mile range, weight capacity, and controllers, but the differences aren’t significant enough, other than their pricing and its unique features.
In our opinion, the Spadger Electric Skateboard provided more features with their smart LEDS and Audio (Our jaws dropped after reading that part). The only downside is, unlike Boosted Board, having the APP as the controller. We prefer to have it as a separate hardware for battery life purposes, but that’s only coming from a worst case scenario situation, like running out of battery life on our mobile phone. And lastly, saving the best for last, the cost differences is big on this one! It’s almost about a $900 difference between the two boards – not only that, it also comes with a ONE year warranty. Wow. Can’t beat that.
With all of that being said, the Spadger Electric Skateboard is a great Boosted Board Alternative, hands down.
The OLIGHT M2R Warrior tactical flashlight just sounds tough! This light features several strobe modes and uses a usb cable to charge. It also comes with a pocket carrying case for concealability. Made of stainless steel this flashlight will not wear out any time soon.
The Fenix TK20R features 1000 lumens of light power. Easily charged with a usb in your house or car. Strobe capabilities to help with blinding an attacker.
The Maglight ML300LX is not only a great flashlight but can also be used as a self defense tool if needed. It is made of anodized aluminum and has a limited lifetime warranty. A fantastic light from a well known brand.
The Anker Boulder super bright tactical is the least expensive of the bunch, but has a great reputation! This light is water resistant and designed for rain. Has a micro usb charger and shoots a bright 900 lumens. For a smaller flash light, this Anker packs a big punch!
This might be a no brainer, but you definitely need a tape measure. An absolute must have for any man to own. You don’t need anything fancy right away, just something that works. This Komelon 25 ft tape will do the trick!
Like the tape measure, a hammer is essential. Irwin makes nice tools and their hammer is no exception. Plus with this price it is hard to beat.
Even though a drill is on this list you will also need to have screw drivers that you can use by hand. We found this set on Amazon and for the price and good reviews it seemed like a great deal. You are sure to have these for a lifetime.
A mitre saw is great for someone who has very little experience with cutting wood. Not only is it a safer option for cutting, it makes the job much easier and precise. We like a sliding mitre saw for its ability to have a deeper cut and therefore be more versatile in its use.
We would normally suggest one or two of these pliers, but with this price we think you should just get all of them. Again, Irwin is a great brand and you will use every one these pliers at some time or another
The 6 in 1 tool might seem like a specialty tool and every contractor you meet will tell you it is a must have. This one by Purdy has a stainless steel blade so it will not rust. A rule to keep in mind when buying other tools down the road.
You have to have a drill and for the homeowner we love the Ryobi ONE + products. They simply have so many other tools that are compatible with the same battery and for our experience they are very solid and long lasting tools.
Like with the drill above, we really like the ONE + tools by Ryobi. This set has so many great tools that you will definitely use. For the essentials of a circle saw and drill we chose this set. However this set also includes a nail gun, an impact drill and reciprocating Saw that we would include on our advanced tools list, so why not just get this be ahead of the curve?! It is also hard to beat the price for all that you get and these tools will last you a very long time.
Even though the batteries that come with the Ryobi ONE + tools are sufficient to get the job done, we recommend getting these high capacity batteries. Not only will your tools power last longer it also increases the performance of the tools. A great upgrade to your ONE + set.
The details on the light weight running shoes fabric truly reflects the craftsmanship and heart they pour into these sneakers. The strong fabric, at-least from our experience, seem to do well against aggressive terrains. It’s only been a couple months, so we shall see how long the material lasts in several months from now.
The rubber base of these shoes really does have a different feel and vibe compared to other running shoes we’ve owned in the past. According their website, they engineered a different form of mesh, to make them more breathable. I can’t truly say I feel the “breath” they claim to say, but it feels somewhat cooler.
Overall, we give these running shoes a 7.5/10. Would we recommend it to a friend who runs casually and participates in marathons every now and then? Yes. To a serious runner? Eh, maybe not.
